A Laravel business portal replacing disconnected spreadsheets with role-based asset tracking, customer management, and sales records in one place.
Baytech managed a complex operation — laptop inventory in lots, customer relationships, and sales records — entirely across spreadsheets and email threads. There was no central system, no clear roles, and no audit trail for who sold what to whom.
As the team grew, the cracks widened. Admins couldn't grant access without handing over full files. There was no way to see which assets had been sold to a specific customer, or track who had visibility into sensitive cost data. The team needed a proper portal — one that reflected how their business actually worked.
We built a Laravel application around two primary user types — customers and partners — each with distinct workflows and visibility rules. Administrators manage everything from a central panel, including who can see or edit cost data.
Inventory is tracked at the asset and lot level, with clear linkage to the customer who purchased each unit. The sales module connects asset records to customer accounts, so the question "what did this customer buy?" is answered instantly rather than through a spreadsheet search. All data is owned fully by Baytech — complete source code and documentation delivered.

Operational efficiency measured against the previous spreadsheet-based workflow.
No more spreadsheets. Everything about our stock, our customers, and what we've sold is in one place now — and the right people can see exactly what they need to.
