Discover local restaurants near you, browse menus, and place orders in seconds — DinDin makes supporting your neighbourhood eateries as easy as a few taps.
Local restaurants — the ones that make a neighbourhood feel like home — were losing business to large chains with the marketing budgets and brand recognition to dominate big delivery platforms. Customers wanted to support local, but discovery was the barrier.
DinDin was conceived to bridge that gap: a dedicated platform putting neighbourhood restaurants front and centre, with an ordering experience that's quick and intuitive enough to use every day. The app needed to show users only what was nearby, make the ordering flow feel effortless, and work flawlessly on both iOS and Android.
We built DinDin around proximity — the moment a user opens the app, they see restaurants near them, not a generic list. Location services surface the closest options first so users can quickly browse, pick a place they know or discover somewhere new, and place their order in just a few steps.
The onboarding was designed to be as frictionless as possible: sign in or create an account in seconds, then start ordering. The interface was kept deliberately clean — restaurant cards, menus, and a straightforward checkout flow with no clutter. Both iOS and Android apps were delivered with a consistent experience, sharing a unified backend so restaurant data and orders stay in sync across platforms.
iOS and Android apps with location-based restaurant discovery, full menu browsing, account management, and seamless order placement — published and live.
DinDin makes it easy to find the local places you love — or discover somewhere new just around the corner. The ordering experience is smooth, the app just works.
iOS and Android apps published on both stores, with a shared backend powering restaurant listings, menus, and order management.
