Three apps working together: a Shopify integration, a web admin dashboard, and a Flutter driver app — automating local delivery from order to door in real time.
Haligone runs local delivery for retail merchants. When a Shopify order came in, the flow was manual: someone checked the order, called a driver, relayed the details, and hoped for the best. There was no dispatch system, no tracking, and no way for customers to see what was happening to their delivery.
The solution needed to span three environments — the Shopify store (where orders originate), the admin office (where dispatch happens), and the driver's phone (where delivery happens). All three had to speak to each other in real time without the phone calls in the middle.
We built three integrated products: a Shopify app that pulls orders into the Haligone system with one click, a web admin dashboard where dispatchers review and assign orders to drivers, and a Flutter mobile app that gives drivers their assignments with delivery details and live status sync.
When a Shopify merchant submits a delivery, it flows into the admin panel automatically. The admin assigns it to a driver in the dashboard; the driver sees it instantly in the mobile app, updates status at pickup and delivery, and the whole chain propagates back to the customer. Custom label printing, delivery reports, and itinerary emails were added for warehouse and logistics workflows.
Admin dashboard & Shopify order workflow
All three products live on their respective platforms — Shopify App Store, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
We went from calling drivers manually for every single order to having everything flow automatically. Orders come in from Shopify, we assign in one click, and drivers get it on their phone.
