Flutter iOS & Android app for Haligone drivers — receive assigned orders, navigate to addresses, update delivery status live, and sync instantly with the dispatch admin.
When the Haligone admin dispatched a delivery, they called the driver. The driver wrote down the address. There was no way to see where the driver was, whether the delivery had happened, or if something had gone wrong. The customer had no visibility either.
The driver app needed to close that gap — give drivers a structured workflow for their shift, replace phone calls with push notifications, allow real-time status updates visible to admin and customer, and do all of this on both iOS and Android without two separate codebases.
We built the app in Flutter for native performance on iOS and Android from a single codebase. When the admin assigns a delivery, the driver sees it instantly as a push notification with all the details.
The driver workflow is simple: see assigned deliveries, tap to start, navigate, mark pickup, mark delivery. Each status change propagates in real time back to the admin dashboard and to the customer. The app handles multiple active deliveries per shift, driver availability toggling, and full delivery history for review.
